Ohka Triumphant in return to McCoy

August 10, 2008
(Pawtucket, RI) - Tomo Ohka will remain in the PawSox record book for posterity. Ohka threw a perfect game for the PawSox back in 2000. On Sunday, he wasn't perfect, but he was good enough to lead the Knights to a 3-1 win over the Sox. The 32 year old righty held his former team to 1 run on 4 hits in six innings. The only PawSox run was a homer by Jeff Bailey (25). It was Bailey's first home run since July 17. Joe Thurston connected for 3 of Pawtucket's seven hits. Bartolo Colon started as he continues his Major League rehab (back). Colon, the former Cy Young winner tossed 3 scoreless innings. The burly right hander threw 34 pitches, 27 for strikes. The PawSox (74-49) wrap up the series on Monday at 12:05 p.m. Jack Egbert (3-10) faces Michael Bowden (0-2).
