Zephyrs' Chicklo Honored As Trainer Of The Year

Chicklo selected by PBATS as PCL's Trainer of the Year

New Orleans Zephyrs trainer Brian Chicklo has been selected by the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) as the 2008 Pacific Coast League Athletic Trainer of the Year.

Chicklo joined the Zephyrs in 2007 with the affiliation with the New York Mets. He has been with the Mets organization for nine seasons, including the last seven with the Triple-A affiliate. He was previously named the trainer for the International League All-Star team at the Triple-A All-Star Game in Sacramento in 2005.
