Volcanoes to host job fair

The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes will be conducting a Job Fair at Volcanoes Stadium this Friday, May 3, 2013, for anyone, age 18 or older, interested in working for the club this summer. The team, a Class A affiliate of the 2012 World Series Champions San Francisco Giants, will begin play at Volcanoes Stadium on June 13th. Pre-season events, begin May 8th when the Oregon State Beavers play the Portland Pilots at Volcanoes Stadium.

Numerous employment opportunities are available including: concessions, vending, wait staff, bartenders, cooks, alcohol monitors, ushering, ticket sales, parking attendants, groundskeeping, and stadium clean up. All interested applicants should attend the May 3, Job Fair which will run from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Volcanoes Stadium.

Volcanoes Stadium is located at6700 Field of Dreams Way N.E. Keizer. Directions: Exit #260 off Interstate 5, proceed 1 block West to Stadium Drive -- Turn North and proceed ½ mile to Volcanoes Stadium entrance.

The Oregon State Beavers are coming to Volcanoes Stadium to play the University of Portland Pilots on Wednesday, May 8th. Game time is 5:30; gates open at 4:00.
