RedHawks and I-Cubs Postponed Again

Rain washes away Saturday's game; will be made up during RedHawks next series in Iowa
May 4, 2013

Des Moines, Iowa - For the second consecutive day, the Oklahoma City and Iowa Cubs had their scheduled game postponed at Principal Park. One day after snow caused a game to be postponed, Saturday's culprit was rain.

No official makeup date has been announced, but it will be during the RedHawks next visit to Des Moines, May 24-27. This is already the fifth RedHawks game this season to be postponed because of inclement weather, four of which have occurred on the road.

The RedHawks and Cubs are still scheduled to play a doubleheader on Sunday in order to make up for Friday's postponement. Both games will be seven innings, and the first one will start at 1:05 p.m. Live coverage begins at 12:35 p.m. on AM 1340 "The Game", 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
