Meet Boog Powell on July 5 at Perdue Stadium

Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds have organized a special meet-and-greet with former Baltimore Orioles first baseman Boog Powell on Friday, July 5 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The package deal includes a ticket to the game, buffet dinner and a chance to meet with Boog.

NOTE: The date has been rescheduled because of the rain out on June 7.

Powell played in the majors from 1961-1977, 13 of those years with the Baltimore Orioles. He is a four-time All Star (1968, 1969, 1970, 1971), two-time World Series Champion (1966, 1970) and was the American League MVP in 1970. He hit 339 career home runs.

The meet-and-greet will begin at 6:30pm prior to the 7:05pm game. Food will be served from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

The menu for the meet-and-greet will include pulled pork BBQ, BBQ chicken legs, hot dogs, coleslaw, watermelon, popcorn, lemonade, iced tea.

Boog will be in the Hardball Cafe signing autographs, taking pictures and meeting with fans. 

The price for the event is $26.50 per person for the general public and $22.50 per person for season ticket holders.
