Heartland Chevy Dealers Provide Free Youth Baseball Instructional Clinic

Papillion, NE. - On June 8th and June 29th, the Heartland Chevy Dealers will host a free instructional clinic at Werner Park for youth baseball players in the Omaha area. Coached by the Omaha Storm Chasers players and field staff, participants will learn the essentials of throwing, fielding and hitting.

The clinic is one of over 200 Chevrolet is hosting this year as part of the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Program. Chevrolet has sponsored free, public baseball clinics for children across the country since 2006 and has held one at Werner Park for the past two years.

Saturday, June 8, 2013: 9:00AM-12:00PM

Saturday, June 29, 2013: 9:00AM- 12:00PM

Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will close two days before each clinic date. Online registration is easy:

  1. Go to http://rsvp.youthsportswired.com/baseball
  2. Click on "Omaha" in the "Please select your market" drop down menu.
  3. Click on the clinic date you wish to attend
  4. Enter the password "playball" (all lowercase, no spaces) and click continue
  5. Complete the registration information and don't forget to download the waiver. Each child must have a completed waiver to participate
  6. Click "submit form" at the end of the page to complete the registration
