BB&T Ballpark Club Seats Go On-Sale for First Time

(Uptown Charlotte, NC) - At a news conference held at the BB&T Ballpark site on Wednesday, May 29, the Charlotte Knights announced plans and prices for two distinct and exclusive Club Seating season ticket areas. Tickets for the areas known as "The Upper Club" and "Home Plate Club" officially went on sale to the general public on Wednesday.

"This a significant moment for Knights fans to have their first opportunity to become stakeholders in the new BB&T Ballpark," said Knights Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Dan Rajkowski. "This will be the finest ballpark in the country. We encourage our community to step up and purchase tickets as we move the Knights to Uptown Charlotte beginning in 2014."

Located above the first base line and on the Luxury Suite level, the Upper Club will feature approximately 170 padded seats situated just 50 feet away from the playing field. Upper Club season ticket holders will enjoy access to a private bar and lounge, nightly buffet and suite level restrooms -- all included in the ticket price. Prices start at $41.50 per game with food (just over $2,900 per seat for the 72-game season).

The Home Plate Club Seats feature approximately 800 padded seats in the five sections located directly behind home plate on the lower level. Home Plate Club season ticket holders will have exclusive access to a climate-controlled private lounge, which offers a variety of food and beverage options for purchase, as well as in-seat wait staff service. Prices start at $21 per seat and are available in three and five-year deals.

Both Club Seating areas will provide fans with an incredible view of the city's skyline.

Season parking passes are also available to Club Seat holders as an additional purchase.
