Carlton Banks Dances Through Bowie

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Night with special appearance by Alfonso Ribeiro aka 'Carlton Banks' at Prince George's Stadium, Thursday, June 20, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 p.m. Ribeiro will perform the Carton Dance live during the game and will be signing autographs and posing for photos. The night is presented by Goldenberg's Peanut Chews.

Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye is excited for this event. "If you are a child of the 90s or just a 90s television fan, you probably know the lyrics to the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' theme song by heart," Wrye said. "Anyone who may have tried the Carlton Dance once or twice will not want to miss this chance to see it live at the stadium and also to meet one of the stars from this classic show."

Ribeiro played the character Carlton Banks for seven seasons (1990-96) on the popular NBC sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." In addition to performing the Carlton Dance and signing autographs, Ribeiro will also sing the National Anthem before the game. Ribeiro will be signing autographs on a first come, first served basis for a limited period of time during the game, so fans interested in meeting the TV star should plan on arriving early to get in line.

Carlton Banks Autograph/Photo Policy:

"In order to accommodate as many fans as possible who would like to meet Alfonso Ribeiro, "Carlton Banks" on Fresh Prince of Bel Air Night, the Baysox will be instituting the following policy for the meet and greet portion of the event:                                                                                                                                   

Fans will have the opportunity to get one (1) autograph OR one (1) photograph with Mr. Ribeiro only. For those seeking an autograph, you will need to bring your own item to be autographed and have it open and ready while in line waiting to meet him. For those seeking a photograph with Mr. Ribeiro, please have your camera on and ready as you approach your opportunity in line. 

Due to the overwhelming response expected for this event, Mr. Ribeiro will get to as many fans as possible, but may not get to everyone. Purchasing a ticket to this event does not guarantee an opportunity to meet Mr. Ribeiro in person. 

Don't be late to the event as Mr. Ribeiro will be performing the National Anthem prior to the game and will be doing his famous "Carlton Dance" LIVE during the latter part of the game as well.
