The open positions are:
Assistant Groundskeepers Iowa Cubs Sports Turf Management is seeking highly motivated assistant groundskeepers for their athletic facilities. Applicants are encouraged to have a turf background, be able to work well with others, and be able to work long hours in possible stressful situations. Assistant will report to the head groundskeeper. Applicants are also asked to be able to lift 50-plus pounds, such as fertilizer bags and equipment.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: daily skin maintenance, clay repair and maintenance on mounds and home plate, mowing, trash removal, bathroom detail, some sod work, assist in fertilizing and spraying, field set-up, working games and tournaments held at facilities. This position is great hands-on experience for persons interested in advancing in the sports turf industry.

Seasonal Groundskeepers Iowa Cubs Sports Turf Management is seeking motivated seasonal staff for their company operations. Applicants are encouraged to have a turf background, be able to work well with others, and be able to work long hours in possible stressful situations. Assistant will report to facility managers. Applicants are also asked to be able to lift 50-plus pounds, such as fertilizer bags and equipment.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: daily skin maintenance, clay repair and maintenance on mounds and home plate, mowing, trimming, trash removal, bathroom detail, some sod work, assist in fertilizing and spraying, field set-up, working games and tournaments held at facilities. This position is great hands-on experience for persons interested in advancing in the sports turf industry, and exciting for sports enthusiasts in general as well.
These positions are seasonal and will run March 1 through December 1. The positions pay $8 per hour - or more depending on experience. Employees may be considered for any available full-time positions.
