Dave Henderson, Ports To Host Adult Baseball Camp
The three day baseball camp experience includes a half-day instructional session, including hitting, pitching and fielding from former Major Leaguers such as Dave Henderson, Greg Cadaret and Jeffrey Leonard. It also includes four or five nine inning baseball games, depending on whether your team makes it into the championship game. Campers will be provided with their own Stockton Ports uniform, including cap, pants and batting practice jersey, lunch each day, full locker room and training room services, and a Saturday night reception.
Participants must be at least 30 years old, and the all-inclusive cost is $875. Space is limited, and hotel/breakfast packages are also available.
Campers will play at beautiful new Banner Island Ballpark, home of the Stockton Ports, the High Class-A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Each day, campers will find their uniform laundered and hanging in their locker, and before and after each game, a staff of professional trainers will see that they are taped, iced and ready to play. Each night, campers will have the chance to mingle with "Hendu" and the pros, and learn about life as a professional baseball player.
