The Sandlot Screening After Sunday's Game

20th Anniversary ballpark tour features Q&A Director, Writer, Narrator
June 6, 2013

The Drive's series with the Crawdads wraps up Sunday afternoon, with first pitch set for 4:05 PM. Stick around after the game, as your ticket will also allow you to watch a special post-game screening on the DriveVision at Fluor Field of "The Sandlot."

David Mickey Evans, the director, writer, and narrator of "The Sandlot," will be on hand as part of the film's 20th Anniversary tour of professional ballparks across the America. He'll throw out the first pitch and interact with fans throughout the day, so don't miss a unique opportunity to meet with a movie director and learn a little more about how "The Sandlot" has captured baseball fans of all ages for two decades.

You'll also want to join the Drive as they celebrate the volunteers of Meals on Wheels on Sunday. Meals on Wheels uses an extensive base of volunteers to deliver over 1,500 hot meals to the elderly and shut ins of Greenville County on a daily basis. These volunteers will be recognized on DriveVision and over the PA system at Sunday's game while also serving as honorary roles before the game.

Great seats still remain for Sunday's game, and can be purchased by visiting the Fluor Field Box Office, calling (864) 240-4528, or by logging onto GreenvilleDrive.com.
