IronPigs Top 10: Ben Muell

Manager, Corporate Sponsorship shares his bobblehead collection
June 7, 2013

For this week's IronPigs Top 10, IronPigs' Manager, Corporate Partnerships Ben Muell gives a first-hand account of his favorite bobbleheads from his "Hall of Fame" collection, which keeps him company at his desk through the early mornings and late nights that come with working in Minor League Baseball.

"I come in early every day, sit down at my desk, power up my computer then I get to work… spending countless hours dusting and strategically orienting my 40-plus miniature friends around my work station. I have often wondered, if an earthquake hit right now I would finally get to see all of them bobble in unison. My Hall of Fame worthy collection can be attributed to my travels up and down the east coast while grinding my way up through the Minors. Here is my Top 10…

10. Grady Sizemore making a leaping catch … it's ironic that this one keeps breaking

9. Pork Racers … with Hambone trailing behind

8. Willie Mays … "The Catch"

7. Peyton Manning … and the "Laser Rocket Arm"

6. Bat Man … No not that one. The long time dancing "Bat Boy" of the Akron Aeros

5. Matt Wieters, Brian Matusz (Single-A), Melvin Mora and Brian Roberts, and Brian Matusz (O's) … Let's go O's.

4. Nutzy and Parney … the Richmond Flying Squirrels Mascot and VP who won "2011 MiLB Executive of the Year"

3. 2009 Yahoo Fantasy Football Championship … "Winning"

2. Cal Ripken Jr. … the IronMan... did I mention LET'S GO O'S!
