Detroit Tigers to host Fantasy Camp game

LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Detroit Tigers will host their 26th fantasy camp game on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. This year's camp commemorates the 1984 World Series Championship Tigers, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary. Participants include: Willie Horton, Mickey Lolich, Juan Berenguer, Tom Brookens, Mike Heath, Jim Price and more.

After spending the week training alongside Tigers greats, the campers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and passion for the game on the field. The campers will square off on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Admission to the game is free, but a suggested donation of $2 will be collected at the front gate for the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida, which benefits local youth organizations and local charities. Be a witness to the Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp games where dreams come true year after year as all-stars are made out of ordinary people.

The 13th annual Tiger Town Pig Festival will also be taking place from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Tiger Town. Admission and parking are free. There will be live music, tasting opportunities, an interactive children's area and much more.

Tickets for the Detroit Tigers Spring Training games are currently on sale.
