Sea Dogs Introduce "Foodie Fridays" at Hadlock

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have announced that Fridays at Hadlock Field will be "Foodie Fridays" starting on Friday, June 14th. Every Friday night the Sea Dogs will offer special menu items available that day only. Additionally, the Sea Dogs have announced that lobster rolls will be available throughout the summer on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

"Portland is known internationally as being a city with great food offerings," said Sea Dogs Executive Vice President and General Manager Geoff Iacuessa. "We are excited to expand our diverse food menu to include some unique items which could become permanent fixtures on the Hadlock Field menu in 2014."

Foodie Friday Menu:
•   June 14: Steak Teriyaki Sub with grilled carrots, onions, peppers and broccoli 
•   July 5: Buffalo Chicken Sub served with Bleu Cheese Dressing and topped with shaved carrots and celery
•   July 19: Pulled BBQ Chicken Sub topped with coleslaw
•   July 26: Double Bacon Cheese Burger Deluxe served with lettuce and tomato 
•   August 9: Fajita Steak Sub served with grilled onion and peppers
•   August 30: Thai Chili Chicken Sub served with grilled onions and peppers
The sandwiches will be available at the Shipyard Grill located on the left-field side of the ballpark.

For the first time the Sea Dogs will offer lobster rolls at the ballpark for all weekend games throughout the season. "Lobster rolls are an item that we believe will be enjoyed by both tourists and the locals at the ballgame," said Iacuessa. "We have always tried to capitalize on all of the elements unique to Maine such as our lighthouse in centerfield, the Maine Event in-game promotion, and now we can say we are adding true local flavor to the ballpark."
