Braves Offer Special Discount for Military Personnel

February 3, 2009
To recognize military personnel for their sacrifice and dedication, the Rome Braves are proud to offer a special ticket discount beginning in 2009. All members of the United States Armed Forces, past and present, will receive a $1.00 ticket discount by showing their military ID. This offer includes club, field, and box level seating with a maximum purchase of four tickets per game.

"We are honored to offer a ticket discount all season long to the many men and woman who have served our country," says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn. "In addition, we are looking forward to giving due recognition to all members of the armed forces during Armed Forces Appreciation Night at State Mutual Stadium in May during the 2009 season."

Rome will host "Armed Forces Appreciation Night" on Friday May 22th at 7pm to further honor military personnel and their families. The night will include special tributes to those that have served and sacrificed for our country.

The 2009 home opener is April 14th against Savannah. Rome plays a four game series in Charleston April 9 -12 to begin the season.
