Cardinals Release Promotional Schedule!

JOHNSON CITY, TN-The Johnson City Cardinals, rookie affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals have released the promotional schedule for their 2013 campaign! The non-stop excitement at Cardinal Park will include two fireworks nights, eight giveaway nights and the return of Faith and Family Night.

The fun starts on Thursday, June 23 with Opening Night, presented by Cumulus Broadcasting and Franklin Woods Community Hospital, with the first 500 fans through the gates receiving a rally towel courtesy of the Tennessee National Guard.

Wednesday, June 26^th is Faith and Family Night, presented by WCQR. The night features a pre-game concert by renowned Christian Contemporary-Rock group Citizen Way. Admission to the concert, beginning at 6:00 p.m., is only $1 and includes a ticket to that evening's 7:20 p.m. contest against the Bristol White Sox

The Cardinals will have seven more giveaways throughout the 2013 season, including five Johnson City Cardinals t-shirt giveaways to the first 200 fans on June 25th, July 11th, July 20th, August 9th, and August 29^th. Other giveaways include a seat cushion giveaway to the first 200 fans on July 27^th, and 2013 Johnson Cardinals team picture giveaway on August 30^th.

Stay after the game and witness exciting fireworks shows on July 5th, presented by The Fresh Market and Bank of Tennessee, and August 10^th, presented by A.O. Smith.

The Cardinals will also play two games at East Tennessee State University's Thomas Stadium as they take on the Bristol White Sox on Friday, June 28^th and the Elizabethton Twins on Friday, July 26^th.
