Nats agree to terms with Lastings Milledge

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Washington Nationals today agreed to terms on a 2009 contract with outfielder Lastings Milledge. Nationals Senior Vice President and General Manager Jim Bowden and Vice President of Baseball Operations and Assistant General Manager Mike Rizzo made the joint announcement.

Right-handed pitcher Jason Bergmann and third baseman Ryan Zimmerman are the only two players in Nationals' big league camp that remain unsigned. Zimmerman will join the list of signed players tomorrow either by an arbitration decision or a settlement.
