Spinners' schedule fifth annual Ticket Party

March 30, 2006
LOWELL, Mass. -- The Boston Red Sox are set to begin their 2006 season on Monday, April 3, and that means Lowell Spinners tickets will go on sale.

This Sunday, April 2, marks the fifth annual Lowell Spinners Ticket Party, presented by Pepsi. Tickets will be sold in person at the ticket office on Sunday, when a limited number will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticket prices remain the same as last year. Premium Box seats are $7.50, Box Seats are $6.50 and Reserved Seats are $4.50.

Fans will be treated to a party with free family entertainment, including playing catch on the field, caricatures, karaoke, mascots and a performance by the Tyngsboro Steppers. The radar gun will also be set up, so fans can see how fast they can throw. Please note, activities may be subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.

Also that day, fans are encouraged to bring along all Yankees paraphernalia as the Spinners are hosting their first annual Yankees Clothing Drive. The Spinners will take all Yankees hats, uniforms, t-shirts -- and anything else Yankees -- and ship everything down to New York.

The Winter Warmth Project, the 2005 official charity of the Spinners, will be conducting a raffle, and one lucky fan will win a pair of Red Sox tickets.

Even though Lowell Spinners tickets have been on sale over the Internet for all games, a number of tickets have been held back for all 38 games specifically for sale on Sunday.

As of Monday, April 3, remaining tickets will be available for all games via the Internet at lowellspinners.com, by phone at 978-459-1702, or in-person at the LeLacheur Park box office. Phone and LeLacheur Park box office hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Spinners open their 10th anniversary season on Tuesday, June 20, against the Vermont Lake Monsters, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
