The Only July 4th Fireworks & Baseball In The Region

(TRENTON, NJ) - Families looking to spend next week's Independence Day holiday with baseball and fireworks should look no further than New York Yankees affiliates, the Trenton Thunder and Staten Island Yankees. The Thunder & SI Yankees are the only professional teams in the greater New Jersey area playing at home and hosting post-game fireworks on July 4. The Thunder face the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) at 7:05pm with fireworks thanks to Andrews Federal Credit Union after the game. The SI Yankees face Hudson Valley at 7:00pm.  

The New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, Reading Phillies (playing at the Thunder), Lakewood Blueclaws, Wilmington Blue Rocks, Camden Riversharks, Somerset Patriots, and Newark Bears are all on the road on July 4th. The New York Mets play at home with game time scheduled for 1:10pm game with no fireworks afterward.

Trenton Thunder tickets start at $10 for Juniors and Seniors and $11 for adults (when purchased in advance). Tickets may be purchased online at trentonthunder.com or by calling the Ticket Office at ARM & HAMMER Park at 609-394-3300. 

The Thunder are also offering a special deal, Uncle Sam's Family Picnic, that includes a seat at a table in the private picnic area in left field, an all-you-can-eat buffet, a photo with a player and the opportunity to watch the fireworks from the field. Uncle Sam's Family Picnic seats $26 each and are limited. They can be purchased by phone at 609-394-3300.
