Spinners single-game tickets on sale March 17

LOWELL, Mass. -- The defending Stedler Division Champion Lowell Spinners, The Class A Short-Season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, announced that individual tickets to all Spinners home games will become available online only (www.lowellspinners.com) beginning on Tuesday, March 17. At this point, tickets will only be available for purchase through the Spinners Website.

Box office and phone sales (978-459-1702) will begin on Monday, March 30 at 11 a.m. Phone and Ticket Office hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Internet sales will continue unabated when walk-up and phone sales begin.

Ticket Prices for the 2009 season show no increase from the 2008 season: Premium Box seats are $8, Box seats are $7, Reserved seats are $5 and Standing Room tickets (only available once each event sells out) are $4.

"We recognize times are challenging on families across New England," said Tim Bawmann, Vice President/GM of the Lowell Spinners. "Since some families are foregoing traditional summer vacations, we encourage them to have a "StayCation" with us this summer."

The Spinners have sold out 344 consecutive home games at LeLacheur Park to a standing-room only crowd of 5,000 fans (5,030 since mid-2006) dating back to August 2, 1999.
