Isotopes Set All-Time Single-Game Attendance Record

16,229 Fans Pack Isotopes Park
July 4, 2013

A franchise-record 16,229 fans flocked to Isotopes Park Thursday, July 4, establishing a new mark for single-game attendance. The Isotopes also had the highest attendance in all of Minor League Baseball on the Fourth of July this season.

The throng is the first of what could very well be a record-setting series as the Isotopes host the Iowa Cubs in a four-game set this holiday weekend. Tonight's game featured a post-game fireworks extravaganza and is the first of three straight nights of post-game fireworks at Isotopes Park.

"All we can say is, 'WOW'," said Isotopes General Manager John Traub. "What an unbelievable night this was. It is certainly among the most memorable events we've ever hosted at Isotopes Park. We can't thank the fans enough for their continued support of their beloved Isotopes."

Tonight was the second time in the Isotopes' 11-year history that they surpassed the 16,000-mark in a single-game.

The top five single-game attendances in Isotopes Park history are as follows:
