Valentine's Restaurant To Become Ump's Pub & Grill

NORTH LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Travelers announce that Bill Valentine's Restaurant inside Dickey-Stephens Park will cease operations effective Sunday, March 29. The restaurant will reopen in time for the Travs Opening Day on Thursday, April 9 as Ump's Pub & Grill.

Ump's is envisioned as an upscale sports pub and restaurant and will feature a brand-new menu to go along with the unique experience that Travs fans have come to expect when dining at Dickey-Stephens Park.

"Following Bill Valentine's retirement we immediately began to evaluate our options regarding the restaurant," said Travs general manager Pete Laven. "We've found the response to a sports themed restaurant to be overwhelmingly positive, and the new menu and new name will continue to pay tribute to Bill and his historic baseball career."
