Meet Paul Blair on Sunday, July 21

The former Orioles outfielder will be at the stadium

Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds will welcome former Baltimore Orioles outfielder Paul Blair to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Sunday, July 21 for a special appearance. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:05pm. Blair will be signing autographs and interacting with Shorebirds fans.

Blair played for the Orioles from 1964 through the 1976 season. The center fielder won seven consecutive Gold Glove awards while playing for the Orioles (1969-1975). Blair was named to two American League All-Star teams (1969, 1973). 

For his 17-year big league career, Blair batted .250 with 134 career home runs.

Blair was part of four World Series champion teams (1966 - Orioles, 1970 - Orioles, 1977 - Yankees, 1978 - Yankees).

Every Sunday is a "Strike Out Hunger" game so bring two canned food items to the Shorebirds Box Office and get a general admission ticket for just $2. All the canned food items will be distributed to local food banks.

In addition, after every Sunday home game, Junior Shorebirds Kids Club members get to run the bases. Parents can sign their kids up for the free club at the ballpark during the game.
