Thursday's Yankees/Blue Jays Games Cancelled
Tampa, Fla. - Tonight's double header between the Tampa Yankees and the Dunedin Blue Jays has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions and the threat of rain to continue throughout the night.
Since the Yankees and the Blue Jays do not play each other again this season, the games will not be made up.
The Tampa Yankees start a four-game series vs. the Bradenton Marauders Friday, July 12th at 7:00pm. Yankees third baseman, Alex Rodriguez, is scheduled to play in Friday's game.
Tickets from tonight's rainout can be redeemed at the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office, for any remaining Tampa Yankees' regular season home game.
