Smokies game at Jackson cancelled Sunday
The game will not be made up this season
JACKSON, Tenn. - The scheduled game tonight between the Tennessee Smokies and Jackson Generals at 7:05 p.m. has been cancelled because of rain and unplayable field conditions. The game will not be made up due to the teams not meeting again this season. The Smokies won all six games during the series and finished the season series with a 16-3 advantage including the last eight in a row over Jackson.
The Smokies will be back in action after the Southern League All-Star break. Tennessee opens a five-game series with the Jacksonville Suns Thursday Night at 7:15. The 2013 Southern League All-Star Game will be played on Wednesday in Jacksonville at 7:05 p.m. ET.
