Royals Game is Only Omaha Release Site Friday
The Royals play the Nashville Sounds at 7:05 p.m. Gates to the ballpark open at 6:00 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans 18-and-under will receive the new Nebraska quarter, courtesy of Union Bank and Trust Company.
The new quarter design features a covered wagon and the pioneer landmark Chimney Rock. It was chosen by Governor Dave Heineman in May 2005 after a two-year design search. It is the 37th coin to be issued in the 10-year 50 State Quarters commemorative series.
