Celebrate Christmas in July on Thursday!

(Fort Mill, SC) - The Christmas season is just five short months away and the Charlotte Knights are ready to spread Christmas cheer for all to hear. On Thursday, July 25, the Knights will hold a special "Christmas in July" party at Knights Stadium.

As part of the Christmas festivities, fans can have their photo taken with Santa Claus for free, participate in Christmas-related events, enjoy Christmas music throughout the evening, and more. All fans are encouraged to wear red, green, and a Christmas stocking cap to fill the stadium with holiday spirit. 

Gates open at 5:45 p.m. and the Knights and Indianapolis Indians will play a doubleheader (two seven-inning games). First pitch of game one is set for 6:15 p.m.

It's also "Thirsty Thursday" at Knights Stadium with $2 beers and $1 sodas, thanks to Hickory Tavern. The Knights will send RHP Andre Rienzo (7-6, 4.33) to the hill in the finale against Indianapolis RHP Brandon Cumpton (4-6, 3.53).
