Sea Dogs to Host North Woods Law Night on Aug. 6th
Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will host North Woods Law night will at the ballpark on Tuesday, August 6th when the Sea Dogs host the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:00 PM at Hadlock Field. Fans will be able to meet the stars of the hit television show. The night is part of Maine Night, presented by the Bangor Daily News and will also feature Maine items such as lobster rolls, moxie, and whoopie pies. The night is going to be wicked good time!
North Woods Law is a documentary television series that airs on the Animal Planet. It follows members of the Maine Warden Service and their unique role in state law enforcement here in Maine as they patrol in the woods and on the water throughout the state.
Warden Kris MacCabe will throw out the ceremonial first-pitch and Corporal Rick Clowry will perform God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch. Warden Alan Curtis and his dog Cruizer are also expected to attend along with numerous other wardens. All will be available for photos and autographs.
The Sea Dogs will serve Moxie (the official soft drink of Maine) and whoopie pies (the official snack of Maine) at the concession stands. Lobster Rolls will also be available at the Shipyard Grill. Additionally, fans will receive an 8 oz. sample of Moxie as they exit the ballpark, courtesy of Coca-Cola.
The Bangor Daily News will also have a special Maine themed section for fans.
