Ryan Radtke

Play-by-play voice of the Reno Aces
March 30, 2009
Known for his professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge of the game, veteran announcer Ryan Radtke will serve as the radio play-by-play voice for all 144 Reno Aces ballgames on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM this season.

Radtke is in his seventh season behind the mic for the Diamondbacks' Triple-A Affiliate, after joining the Tucson Sidewinders broadcast booth in 2003. He served as the club's No. 2 play-by-play announcer until taking over as the primary voice in 2006.

Radtke spent 10 years with the University of Arizona radio network before moving to Reno. While in Tucson, he served as one of the play-by-play broadcasters for the Wildcats baseball team as well as the host of the pre and post game show for University of Arizona football and basketball broadcasts. Until his appointment to the lead broadcast position with the Sidewinders, he also served as host of a weekday afternoon radio show on KCUB (1290-AM) and an evening show on KNST (790-AM).

In addition to his duties with the Aces, Radtke currently broadcasts University of Nevada Wolfpack football and basketball games.

The last three men to broadcast Diamondbacks Triple-A games have each moved on to full-time broadcast positions for Major League Baseball clubs. Most recently, Brett Dolan was hired to work on the Houston Astros Radio Network after six seasons with the Tucson Sidewinders.

Radtke is a graduate of the University of Arizona. He and his wife Adrienne live in Sparks, Nev.
