March 31, 2009
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Miracle Professional Baseball and Wendy's are teaming up to form a winning double play. Wendy's has acquired tickets to the Miracle's home opener on Friday, April 10 and will distribute them at no cost to customers.

Beginning April 1, fans can stop by any of the 19 Wendy's locations in the two-county area and pick up a free general admission ticket to see the Miracle take on the Charlotte Stone Crabs at Hammond Stadium.

"This is one of the biggest nights of the season for us and we are excited to have Wendy's as a partner," said Miracle General Manager Steve Gliner.

Tickets can be upgraded to a box seat for only $2.00. Tickets may be upgraded at the Miracle Hammond Stadium offices beginning on Tuesday, April 7 at 9 a.m.

"We encourage fans to visit their local Wendy's, grab a frosty or combo meal and get a ticket to be part of a special event in Southwest Florida," said Gliner.

The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and first pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. The first fireworks show of the season will take place after the game.

Tickets for all 70 home dates are available for purchase in person at Hammond Stadium or by phone between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fans also may purchase tickets on-line at www.miraclebaseball.com. The Miracle's on-line ticket system will allow fans to be able to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home.

Ticket prices for 2009 are as follows: $7 for Box seats ($8 for Fireworks), $5 for General Admission ($6 for Fireworks).
