San Jose Giants Homestand Preview: July 30-August 1

SAN JOSE, CA- The First Half North Division Champion San Jose Giants begin a three-game series against the Visalia Rawhide at Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, July 30. On Tuesday, the team will host its first-ever Mustache Night and all fans who have a mustache will receive two free future game tickets. On Wednesday, fans will want to make arrangements to come to the stadium because the Royal Couple will be in attendance along with their newborn, the Prince of Cambridge. All fans with the name George, Alexander or Louis can show their ID at the box office and receive FREE admission to the game. In addition, fans will be able to find tickets to Wednesday and Thursday's contests at local Orchard Supply Hardware Stores. Visit sjgiants.com for a list of participating locations.

Promotions and Special Events:

Mustache Night: Grow out your facial hair and come to the ballpark to receive two free future game tickets! Included in the festivities will be a Best Mustache contest, the winner of which will receive A Giant Luau VIP Package.

Alaska Airlines Thunderstick Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a pair of Thundersticks courtesy of Alaska Airlines.

A Royal Baby: The Royal Baby will make his first appearance in the United States at the San Jose Giants game on Wednesday. Come out to the ballpark to see the Royal Couple and the Prince of Cambridge. The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge will be available at the front entrance with George Alexander Louis. Parents are encouraged to bring their newborns to the game for a chance to meet the Royal Couple and the opportunity to possibly marry into the Royal Family. In addition, all fans with the name George, Alexander or Louis can show their ID at the box office and receive FREE admission to the game.

OSH Merchant Games: Fans can pick up complimentary admission tickets to the games on Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 at their local, participating OSH stores one week prior to the game. *General Admission tickets are NOT assigned seating. They are on a first come first serve basis in the stadium grandstand and bleachers.

Throughout the season, single game tickets will be available at the Box Office and over the phone at (408) 297-1435 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Tickets are also available online at sjgiants.com.

2013 Playoff Tickets:

The San Jose Giants won their eighth First Half Northern Division Title in the past nine seasons in June, guaranteeing them a spot in the playoffs for a California League record tenth consecutive season. By virtue of their first half title, the Giants will have a first round bye and open the best-of-five Division Series at Municipal Stadium on Saturday, September 7 at 6:00 PM with first pitch for Game Two also scheduled for 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 8 in San Jose. Tickets for all potential playoff games are on sale at the Municipal Stadium Box Office, over the phone at (408) 297-1435, or online at sjgiants.com.

Fans wishing to guarantee themselves a box seat to all potential postseason games may do so by purchasing a playoff ticket package for just $78.
