Goodwill Night set for this Sunday
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies and Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. are teaming up this Sunday, June 28, to collect donations for the various Goodwill Industries locations in the Knoxville area, as well as raise awareness about some key services provided by Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc.
"We are happy to be able to assist Goodwill Industries in their donation efforts," stated Smokies General Manager Brian Cox. "We hope those coming out to Sunday's game will donate for a very worthy cause."
Fans attending Sunday's Smokies game can take advantage of a $2 ticket discount being offered by the Smokies to anyone who brings in a household item or three items of new or gently used clothing to the Goodwill truck that will be at Smokies Park. Donations collected at the stadium and at other Goodwill donation locations go towards Goodwill Industries being able to provide an array of vocational services for East Tennesseans, including computer skills and nurse training programs.
