Happy Birthday Ted E. Tourist

The Tourists will host the Greenville Drive, one of the top clubs in the Southern Division for the first half, for four games featuring plenty of fun promotions, including Ted E. Tourists' 18th birthday celebration tonight!

Tonight is Ted E. Tourists' 18th birthday and will feature a stadium-wide birthday celebration for our favorite mascot! There will be mascots from around the area to join Ted E. and help him celebrate along with the fans. Every fan in attendance will receive a slice of Ted E.'s birthday cake, so bring your sweet tooth. We will also be collecting children's toys at the ballpark which will be donated to Toys for Tots. All fans who bring Ted E. a toy (with a $5 value) will receive a free ticket to the game.

Saturday, June 27th is the much anticipated Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders appearance. Jordan C. and Sarah G. from the universally recognized Cheerleader squad will be at McCormick Field to visit with fans from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the Tourists game against the Drive.

Sunday will conclude the homestand with the annual 'Doggies at the Diamond' event. Bring your best friend out to the ballpark and enjoy special doggie-related demonstrations, treats, prices, and exhibitor booths.

Asheville will then take to the road with four games in Savannah against the Sand Gnats before returning to McCormick Field for an eight-game homestand against Charleston and Savannah, featuring several promotions including special Fireworks shows Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th presented by Asheville Savings Bank.
