Klutch made his first appearance with the St. Lucie Mets on April 5, 2013. Klutch made his introduction in grand style. He came in from the warning track in a Dodge Ram 1500 and energized fans with his unique dance moves. He enjoys entertaining fans with his wacky antics at every home game and runs the bases with all of his Kids Club members after games.
Klutch's cousin, Slider, is a member of the Kingsport Mets.
In Round Two, the mascots who won their league will compete for the overall title from August 1-8.
Mascot Mania also features a sweepstakes where fans can win MLB.TV and MiLB.TV subscriptions, MLB.com and MiLB.com shop gift cards, and mascot themed items. Fans can enter through the online ballot or by tweeting their vote and following @MiLB.
