Joe Orsulak is Coming to Perdue Stadium
Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds, class "A" affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are excited to announce that former Orioles outfielder/infielder Joe Orsulak will be making a special appearance at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium during the Shorebirds game on Sunday, August 4. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 5:05 while the gates will open at 4:00pm.
Orsulak played five seasons for the Orioles (1988-92) and 14 total years in the major leagues. He also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1983-86), New York Mets (1993-95), Florida Marlins (1996) and Montreal Expos (1997).
Over his big league career, Orsulak accumulated 1,173 hits and 57 home runs.
In five years with the Orioles, he batted .281.
Orsulak will hold a meet-and-greet for season ticket holders from 4:00pm until close to game time. After he throws out a ceremonial first pitch, Orsulak will be available for all fans to get autographs on the second level concourse.
