Sano powers Rock Cats in victory
Top Twins prospect Miguel Sano homered, doubled and drove in three runs in a 3-for-5 performance that powered New Britain past Akron, 13-6, on Tuesday.
Sano is batting .243/.351/.564 with 11 homers and 35 RBIs in 42 games since his promotion to the Rock Cats. Sixth-ranked Twins prospect Eddie Rosario tripled, plated a run and scored once.
No. 18 Indians prospect Jesus Aguilar hit his 14th homer for the Aeros.

Ryan Lollis belted two solo shots and Jarrett Parker homered, tripled and drove in three runs to lead Richmond past Portland, 8-2.
No. 17 Red Sox prospect Christian Vazquez had two RBIs for the SeaDogs and fifth-ranked Boston prospect Matt Barnes (5-8) allowed four runs -- three earned -- on seven hits and a walk while fanning seven in 5 2/3 frames.

Donn Roach (7-10) yielded one run on four hits without any walks and four strikeouts in five innings to lead San Antonio to a 4-2 triumph over Arkansas. Roach now has a 3.83 ERA in 23 starts for the Missions.
Rocky Gale went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the offense.

In his Double-A debut, California League standout Daniel Winkler allowed four runs -- two earned -- on four hits and three walks while fanning five in four innings as Tulsa topped Midland, 9-6.
Winkler went 12-5 with a 2.97 ERA and 152 strikeouts in 130 1/3 innings at the Class A Advanced level.

David Martinez established a new Corpus Christi record with his 14th win of the year as the Hooks bested the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 7-3. Martinez allowed two runs on eight hits while striking out seven over 8 1/3 innings.
Martinez surpassed Jason Hirsh, who won 13 in Corpus Christi's inaugural season in 2005.

Fifth-ranked Rays prospect Enny Romero (10-6) earned his 10th win of the year by holding Chattanooga to one run on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in seven innings in Montgomery's 3-1 victory.
Romero lowered his ERA to 2.72 in 122 1/3 frames for the Biscuits.
