Kids age 7-13, here's a perfect back to school exercise: The Red Wings KidsCaster Competition, presented by New York's 529 College Savings Program.

Do you think you've got what it takes to call the next Red Wings home run with The Voice of the Wings® Josh Whetzel?

Entering this fun competition is FREE! All you need to do is send an email or hand written letter telling us why you want to be a Red Wings KidCaster. Winners will get four Premium tickets, VIP parking,. and a half inning on the air during one of our live telecasts on Time Warner Cable Sportsnet.

PARENTS
There are two ways for your kid age 7-13 to enter:

 

1) Parent or guardian can email us by clicking here. The first paragraph of your emailed entry must include parent/guardian name, address and ZIP, and a daytime phone number, plus the first name and age of your potential KidCaster. The second paragraph should be composed by your KidCaster, should be at least 30 words in length, and should clearly state why he or she would like the chance to be a Red Wings KidCaster.

2) Parent or guardian can mail us a letter at Red Wings KidsCaster, One Morrie Silver Way, Rochester NY 14608. The first paragraph of your mailed entry must include parent/guardian name, address and ZIP, and a daytime phone number, plus the first name and age of your potential KidCaster. The second paragraph should be composed by your KidCaster, should be at least 30 words in length, and should clearly state why he or she would like the chance to be a Red Wings KidCaster.
