Brand-new Thirsty Thursdays on tap for fans

$1 beers, $1 sodas & 50-cent wings available tonight!

The State College Spikes continue Thursday night tradition for fans with the unprecedented value of Thirsty Thursdays at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The brand-new weekly special will feature $1 domestic draft beers from 6-8 p.m., $1 medium sodas all game long, and delicious 50-cent wings to nosh on during the night.

The value-packed promotion returns tonight, August 29 when the Spikes face the Pinckney Division rival Jamestown Jammers in a makeshift doubleheader beginning at the special time 6 p.m., with the completion of June 25's suspended game from the bottom of the second inning onward, followed by a seven-inning contest.

$1 12-ounce domestic draft beers and medium sodas will be available at both of the "Flashpoint Grille" locations behind home plate. Fans can find the Spikes' fabulous 50¢ wings, which will be available in Buffalo, Barbecue and Garlic Parmesan varieties, at the main "Flashpoint Grille" location behind section 103.

In addition, college students can enjoy even more value not just on Thursday, but over each of the Spikes' final ten home dates of the year with the College 3-2-1 Special, presented by BioLife Plasma Services.

The College 3-2-1 Special presented by BioLife Plasma Services offers any college student presenting a valid student ID at ticket and concessions windows the following special offers:

  •  $3 Outfield Bleacher seats or $3 off seat in any other ballpark section
  •  $2 medium sodas all game
  •  $1 hot dogs all game
