Cards Tie Series

Jupiter FL-Palm Beach won 4-3 in extra innings which tied up the series one to one against Fort Myers. The Miracle couldn't close the game out in the bottom of the ninth. Shane Peterson doubled on a line drive to center field. Then Curt Smith singled to bring in Peterson.

Both teams battled on until the bottom of the eleventh. The bases loaded for Smith, who tied the game up in the ninth. Smith drove the ball over the center fielder to win the game.

The Cardinals improve their record to 9-9 on the season. The rubber match is set for a day game tomorrow, 10:35am.
