Players and Coaches visit Hope Haven

July 7, 2009
Bees players and coaches recently visited Hope Haven in Burlington. The team visited and signed autographs for over 100 Hope Haven residents.

Hope Haven is a private non-profit organization that provides vocational, residential, community employment and living services for over 350 mentally and physically challenged persons.

"It's very important to our organizaton to give back to the community whenever we can," Bees' Manager Jim Gabella said. "Events like this are good character builders for our young players. It was great to see all the smiles on the faces of the residents."
