Jose Ramon Calls Action of Six Games on KePadre 1020-AM

OMAHA, NE - Six Omaha Royals games will be broadcast in Spanish on KePadre 1020-AM, beginning on Cinco de Mayo. The Royals host the Memphis Redbirds on Tuesday, May 5th at 6:35 p.m., and Jose Ramon who's the morning air-talent on KMMQ-AM (KePadre) will provide the play-by-play in Spanish.

KePadre is the sister station of Omaha's KOIL-AM 1180, which is the new English broadcast home of Omaha Royals baseball airing all of the team's 144 games this season. Both stations are part of NRG Media.

"We are thrilled to offer another community outreach initiative by adding six Spanish radio broadcasts in 2009," said Martie Cordaro, Royals Vice President/General Manager. "This is a continuation of our great, new relationship with NRG Radio."

Sunday, June 28, 1:35 p.m.: Royals vs. Albuquerque Isotopes

Sunday, July 19, 1:35 p.m.: Royals vs. Memphis Redbirds

Sunday, July 26, 1:35 p.m.: Royals vs. Round Rock Express

Sunday, August 9, 6:05 p.m.: Royals vs. Reno Aces

Sunday, August 23, 1:35 p.m. Doubleheader: Royals vs. Oklahoma City RedHawks
