What rain?

The Yankees swept both games of a doubleheader Thursday against the Indianapolis Indians at Frontier Field, following a postponed game due to rain the day before.

Todd Linden led the Yankees to a 7-2 victory in the first game with a three-run double in the sixth.

John Rodriguez capped the Yankee scoring with another single that inning to drive in Linden.

In Game 1, Chris Malec also notched his first Triple-A homerun in the fourth.

Casey Fossum pitched five solid innings, allowing four hits and one run and striking out two.

The Yankees posted a 9-3 victory in the second game, led by Juan Miranda and his three-run homerun in the seventh.

That inning, the Yankees slowly chipped away at the Indians, connecting for four singles and driving in nine runs.
