Terrance Tucker awarded California League Clubhouse Manager of the Year

August 24, 2013

Lake Elsinore, CA-The Lake Elsinore Storm are proud to announce that Terrance Tucker has been awarded California League Clubhouse Manager of the Year.

This is Tucker's third year with the Storm, his first was in 2011 when he was a part of the California League Championship Storm team.

Before his time with the Storm, Tucker served as a similar capacity with the Fort Wayne TinCaps for one year in 2010.

The San Diego native graduated from San Diego State in 2008 with a B.A and Masters in Communication Studies.

Prior to his years as Clubhouse Manager, Tucker served seven years with the San Diego Padres as Batboy from 2003-2009.

"I am definetly humbled by this award," said Tucker. "This job at times is looked past, but I always try my hardest. I have had the pleasure to work under Brian Prilaman, Tony P. and Spencer D. to pick thier brain, they are the best!! Most importantly they are great people. I definetly want to make Dave Oster proud as he made so many sacrifices for me! This could't be possible without the help of the batboys. Especially Jacob Dwiggins."
