Intimidators Announce New Concessions Offerings

The Kannapolis Intimidators are proud to offer a brand-new concessions menu for the 2009 season. Ballpark favorites such as Nathan's All-Beef Hot Dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, pretzels and popcorn all return, but new additions include a food court area located on the main concourse behind the press, a healthy options menu, gourmet hamburgers and hot dogs at the Double Play Café and the Intimidators own brew, the Intimidators Summer Ale.

The food court features a Snack Shack offering loaded nachos, chips, candy, popcorn, granola bars, drinks and Hershey's ice cream. Also new this year is an Irish Pub featuring specialty beers including Guiness and Harp, a BBQ Sandwich stand serving Stringbeans BBQ, Dippin' Dots, pretzels and more.

The Healthy Options Menu, sponsored by the Cabarrus Health Alliance, is located at the Double Play Café down the 1st base line and features an alternative to traditional ballpark fare including: Veggie Burgers, turkey dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, salads, fruit, veggie wraps and green tea.

Also, new to the Double Play Café is a new line of gourmet hamburgers & hot dogs. Hamburgers are 6 oz. Angus burgers and options include: The Carolina All-The-Way Burger (Chili, Slaw, Onions) the Southwest Treat (Onion Ring, BBQ Sauce), the Mushroom & Swiss Burger, the Big Bacon Burger and the Bleu Cheese Burger. All burgers are served with french fries.

Gourmet Hot Dogs are grilled to perfection and feature a Quarter Pound Nathan's Hot Dog the following combinations: The Carolina All-The-Way (Chili, Slaw, Onions), the Bulldog (Chili, Cheese, Jalapeno Peppers), The Midwesterner (Sauerkraut, Spicy Mustard) and The Southwesterner (Bacon, Onions, BBQ Sauce).

New for adults in the Beer Garden is the Intimidators Summer Ale. This light, crisp ale with a hint of orange flavor is sure to be a hit at the ballpark and is sold on draft.
