July 13, 2009

The Gwinnett Braves will host the team's first Youth Baseball Clinic on Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Gwinnett Stadium. Children ages 8-12 will have the opportunity to take to the field and learn the fundamentals of baseball with their favorite G-Braves players and coaches.

The clinic will feature instructional stations focusing on every component of baseball, allowing children to rotate through each station for the complete baseball experience. Following the baseball clinic, participants will be treated to a Chick-fil-A lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Participation in the Youth Baseball Clinic is $35 for Chopper's Clubhouse members and $50 for non-members. Price includes registration for the clinic, an event t-shirt, lunch, and a ticket to the August 16th game vs. the Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston Red Sox) at 2:00 p.m. The clinic is limited to 100 participants.

"Fans can register by sending an e-mail including the child's name and age to [email protected]. The first 100 fans to respond will be sent an e-mail confirmation containing an official registration form.".
