What: Southern League All-Star Game
When: July 13
The North and South divisions of the Southern League will face off in Birmingham, Ala. on Monday. Former Reds second-rounder Travis Wood (8-3, 1.29) -- who sports the best ERA in the Minors -- will start for the North. The South will send right-hander Kyle Cofield (5-3, 4.00) to the mound to begin the game. Besides an exciting game, fans can also expect to see ZOOperstars!, BirdZerk! and Jake the Diamond Dog. There will also be a fireworks display following the game.
Swing Away
What: Triple-A All-Star Home Run Derby
When: July 13
The Triple-A All-Star Game Home Run Derby, which will be held on Monday at PGE Park in Portland, Ore., will feature six of the top sluggers in Triple-A as well as two high school ballplayers from the Portland area. Each of the Triple-A contestants has at least 11 homers on the season with Scranton/Wilkes-Barres' Shelley Duncan leading the pack with 21.
Sadowski going for San Jose
What: San Jose at Visalia
When: July 13
San Francisco Giants rookie Ryan Sadowski will start for the San Jose Giants on Monday. He was sent to San Jose to pitch this week because San Francisco won't need their fifth starter until next week. Sadowski went 2-1 with a 1.00 ERA in three games for the Giants after being promoted in the end of June.
Sox seeing time in Kannapolis

When: July 13-16
Chicago White Sox All-Star left fielder Carlos Quentin will continue his rehab stint this week with the Kannapolis Intimidators. Quentin has been sidelined with a foot condition since May 25. The slugger is expected to rejoin the Sox soon after the All-Star break. Quentin will be joined on Kannapolis' roster by former Cy Young Award winter Bartolo Colon. Colon, who has been on the DL with left knee inflammation since early June, is expected to start for the Intimidators on Tuesday.
The real All-Stars of New Jersey
What: Eastern League All-Star Game
When: July 15
The top players in the Northern Division of the Eastern League will team up to battle the best of the Southern Division on Wednesday at Waterfront Park in Trenton, NJ. The gates will open at 2 p.m. ET -- five hours before the first pitch -- in order to allow fans to watch batting practice, attend an autograph session and observe the Home Run Derby before the first pitch at 7:05. After the game will be the MiLB Top Star Award Presentation followed by a fireworks show.
All-Star Wednesday nightcap
What: Triple-A All-Star Game
When: July 15
Where: ESPN2 and MiLB.TV
Portland, Ore. has been filled with pre-All-Star Game celebrations and events for the past few days. The baseball frenzy will culminate with the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday. Players such as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's Shelley Duncan (.283, 21, 69) highlight the International League's roster while the Pacific Coast League will send Randy Ruiz (.324, 19, 78) and Bud Norris (3-8, 2.46) to the field.
Hudson begins comeback
What: Myrtle Beach vs. Winston-Salem
When: July 19
Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson will make a rehab start for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on Sunday. The two-time All-Star is recovering from Tommy John surgery. He hasn't made a start since July 23 of last year when he threw six shutout innings against the Marlins.
