The first Fiesta Mexicana de Beisbol En Phoenix is coming up at Salt River Field in Scottsdale this weekend. Here is the schedule:

Musical Performance: Tecnobanda La Pilarena will perform before, during and after all games of the Fiesta Mexicana de Beisbol En Phoenix. La Pilarena performed at last year's Mexican Baseball Fiesta in Tucson and entertained fans with their lively music, adding to the energetic atmosphere at the ballpark.
Mascots: The Fiesta Mexicana de Beisbol En Phoenix will feature two of the most popular mascots of the Mexican Pacific League. Beto Coyote of Hermosillo and Chaco of Obregon will perform at the ballpark each day, including some routines on the field during the game.
Diamondbacks Ties: Original Arizona Diamondback Karim Garcia is on the Obregon roster. Garcia played 114 games for the 1998 Diamondbacks and is a very popular player in Mexico. Obregon's roster also features Diamondbacks pitching prospect Derek Eitel, a reliever for Double-A Mobile this year. Eitel was 6-2 with a 3.42 ERA in 42 Southern League games this season. Diamondbacks Spanish radio broadcaster Oscar Soria calls Mexican Pacific League games for Hermosillo.
Mexican Baseball Legend: Obregon's roster features veteran power hitter Doug Clark. A former Oakland Athletic and San Francisco Giant in Major League Baseball, Clark has played for Tigres de Quintana Roo in Cancun the past three seasons. He has 174 career home runs between the United States, Korea and Mexico.
