C's hosting three-day Kids Camp
From lying around playing Nintendo Wii to getting out into the fresh air and learning the game of baseball from the pros, kids from all around enjoyed their first full morning of baseball instruction from both the Vancouver Canadians players, coaches and front office staff.
Right out of the gates, nearly 100 kids got the chance to learn the secrets to hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching. Canadians Strength and Conditioning Coach Sean Doran was even on hand to put the kids through the physical paces of strecthing and ensuring kids understood the value in keeping their bodies fit.
Day two of the three day Vancouver Canadians Kids Camp goes on Wednesday, August 5th and wraps up on Thursday, August 6th.
All kids enrolled into this years Kids Camp received lunch and a ticket to tonight's game against the Yakima Bears at 7:05pm.
