October 3, 2013

Dunedin, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays have released their 2014 Florida State League regular season schedule, and will start the campaign on April 3 against the Clearwater Threshers at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.

After winning the First Half North Division Championship last season, the D-Jays will look to reach the playoffs for the fifth-consecutive year.

From Monday through Saturday, the majority of Dunedin's home games will start at 6:30 p.m. EST with the exception of three 11 a.m. games on Tuesday May 6, Monday June 23 and Monday July 21, and a 4 p.m. start on Friday, July 4.

Four of the Blue Jays first five Sunday home games will start at 1 p.m., and the final seven Sunday games will begin at 5 p.m.

Following the season-opening four-game series with Clearwater, Dunedin will travel to Daytona for a three-game set with the defending champion Cubs in a rematch of last year's North Division Championship.

Florida Auto Exchange Stadium will host two separate eight-game homestands, including one in May featuring two games against the Bradenton Marauders, four games against the Fort Myers Miracle and two games against the Lakeland Flying Tigers.

In an equally jam-packed August homestand, the Jays will host the Threshers, Flying Tigers and Brevard County Manatees over eight straight nights.

August will be a fun-filled month for Blue Jays fans, as Dunedin will host 18 games. The final day of the regular season is Sunday, August 31, where the Jays will end the season with a 5:05 p.m. matchup in Brevard County.

If Dunedin makes the postseason, the playoffs are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 2.
