Trick or Treat at Dozer Park October 26!
PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced Pumpkins in the Park, a Halloween-themed event for families at Dozer Park on Saturday, October 26 from Noon to 3:00 p.m. The afternoon will consist of trick-or-treating around the stadium, costume and pumpkin painting contests, concourse entertainment and a 1:30 p.m. viewing of Hotel Transylvania on the 42' HD10 LED Video Board in right-field.
Admission to the event at Dozer Park is one non-perishable food item per person or a $5.00 donation to the Midwest Food Bank per person. Each attendee receives a voucher for a free ticket to a 2014 regular season Chiefs game in April or May. Gates will open at Noon with Homer and entertainment on the concourse throughout Dozer Park. During the event, Kids 12 and under can participate in scavenger hunt themed Trick-or-Treating throughout the stadium.
There will also be contests, plenty of contests. Kids can bring their own painted pumpkins or there will be pumpkins for sale and paints provided at the Arts & Crafts table. There will also be a Costume Contest for best individual costume (12 & under) and best Family Themed costumes. Prize packs will be awarded at 2:00 for the winner in all three contests.
